Micah's 2nd birthday

Micah is now 2 years old! It is so hard to believe. On Saturday, Sept. 19th we celebrated this special day. Friends and family came over - 35 of them. Brandon grilled hot dogs, kids played in the backyard. Micah knew just what to do when it came to blowing out the candles. He waited for everyone to sing to him. Caleb, Faith, Creed, Skylar, Meckenzie and Kaitlyn surrounded him while singing and were all so excited. When they were threw, he blew out his 2 candles all on his own! So precious. Sweet Ethan was overlooking from the Fort the whole time. He is our spectator. Gift opening - Ethan wanted to open all of Micah's gifts for him and I almost had to let him. Micah opened the first gift and could not wait to play with it. I managed to get him to open another without too much effort. Then he was off. To entice him to return to the gifts, I picked one I knew had a play knife in it and said "hey Micah, this present has a knife in it, would you like to open it?" He stopped dead in his tracks and came over to open it. We have this on video. It is so funny. He took it right to Brandon to open it and was at his feet until Brandon had it open. We got Micah to open a few more presents with his plyers he got for his bday with Ethan helping. One of Micah's gifts was a chainsaw which Ethan has claimed for his own. Ethan used the chainsaw to "open" a couple of gifts. We are thankful for so many friends and family who came to be with Micah to help us remember this glorious day 2 years ago!
